A place to land.

Therapy for women of color in graduate programs.

You came here for a reason.

Maybe you're "the only one" in the room. Maybe some people in your life think it's "just school." Maybe it feels like everyone else got a memo that you missed. Between coursework, committees, family expectations and life happening in the background, there's rarely a place to express what's really going on, to name what's feeling hard. If you're tired, overwhelmed, or feeling misunderstood, you're not failing.

You're carrying a lot. Let's make space for you to lay it all down.

What we do together

Together we'll make sense of your experience and you'll regain your footing by connecting to your values. You'll learn to navigate moments of difference and difficulty by meeting yourself with compassion and discovering ways to return to yourself when everything feels loud. The goal isn't only to get through. It's for the everyday parts to feel hopeful again and to remember what you wanted when you began.

What shifts

  • You stop asking “What’s wrong with me?” and start seeing that challenging moments are part of the journey and you’re not the only one.

  • Frustration turns into freedom and feedback becomes information, not a verdict on who you are.

  • You reclaim your sense of purpose and your confidence returns.

About me

I’m Stephanie, but you can call me Steph. I’ve spent more than 16 years supporting women of color in academic programs. In that time, I’ve come to believe the hardest part often isn’t the work itself. It’s trusting your own brilliance when the world around you gives you reasons to doubt it.

I believe you already have what you need to finish this journey. What gets in the way is the noise: comparison, criticism and the quiet voice that says you don’t belong. My job is to help you turn that noise down so you can trust yourself again.

I spent eight years as a therapist at Harvard University and have worked with students at community colleges as well as schools large and small: supporting undergraduate, graduate, medical, law, transfer, and international students.
